09/27/26 Grilled Lamb Chops at Elia Authentic Greek Taverna in Las Vegas, NV. I love a good lamb chop, but it’s not often that I find one that’s Bigtime. Most are either too small, too thin, too gamey, too fatty, or too bland. Elia’s version, though, was terrific. Flown in from Colorado, the lamb chops were generously proportioned and thick enough to be cooked a perfect medium rare. Laced with Greek oregano and ladolemono (a Greek seasoning comprised of extra virgin olive oil and lemon juice), the chops were seasoned just right and lean without a bunch of fat, yet juicy at the same time. Elia is a Greek-owned and operated restaurant serving traditional Greek dishes with a focus on using only the freshest ingredients. Terrific service in a casual, yet modern and elegant atmosphere. I also loved their Greek Salad, Lavraki (Whole Sea Bass), Lentil Soup, and Salmon Tartare. Located off the strip a bit in Henderson, Elia is open for both lunch and dinner Tuesday through Sunday. First time here, but I loved it so much that Elia will be in my regular rotation any time I’m in Vegas!!
